Sydney, NSW Australia – 1st day (11.28.13)

1st time travel of VeRaCiRs together, Sydney Australia.  Took BA (British Airways) flight from Changi Airport T1.

Touchdown in Kingsford Sydney Airport, early morning of Thursday.  Swissotel hotel in Market Street was our home for the whole stay in Sydney.


Queen Victoria Building (QVB) is a late nineteenth-century building designed by the architect George McRae in the central business district of Sydney, Australia.

Town Hall is a sandstone building opposite of Queen Victoria building.


Hyde Park is the oldest parkland in Australia located the central business district of Sydney.


Adjacent to Hyde Park is St Mary’s Cathedral.  It is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney.


Sydney Opera House is situated on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the facility is adjacent to the Sydney central business district and the Royal Botanic Gardens, between Sydney and Farm Coves.



Lighting of a giant Christmas tree along St Martins Place concluded our 1st day in Sydney.
