Sydney, NSW Australia – 2nd day (11.29.13)

Due to wet weather the following day, decided to visit indoor attractions.  Visited Australian Museum, the oldest museum in Australia, with an international reputation in the fields of natural history andanthropology. It features collections of vertebrate and invertebrate zoology, as well as mineralogypalaeontology, and anthropology.

After visiting Australian Museum, we’re able to pass by Anzac War Memorial Memorial. The memorial is located at the southern extremity of Hyde Park on the eastern edge of Sydney’s central business district.

Opposite is St Mary’s Cathedral. Front portion of the cathedral.  We were able to pay visit the church.

Darling harbour was the last stop for the day.  Darling Harbour is a harbour adjacent to the city centre of SydneyNew South Wales, Australia. It is also a large recreational and pedestrian precinct that is situated on western outskirts of the Sydney central business district.
